You need to take care of your body and your mind and that is hard to do if you spend all of your time sitting in front of a computer screen. When you are sleep deprived or haven’t eaten in a long time, you aren’t going to play very well. Yup, that’s correct, the world of MMORPG’s is definately just as addicting as any drug on the market. It is imperative to give yourself and those around you a break from time to time. Doesn’t it make sense to go back to your game feeling refresshed and ready for a new challenge then letting yourself burnout?

Do embrace the team spirit ethic. Many concepts (with MMORPG’s) are the same as traditional team sports. There will be times when those with deeper understanding and playing time will give you directions, and you need to be able to accept them.

There will be a time when you also will need to take the same kind of action. The concept of the team in sports, or other areas, is that the goal is for the team to win, and sometimes that necessitates making sacrifices for the good of the team. Think about it, though – if you are too rigid and not willing to cooperate or play with the team, then people will eventually stop playing with you. Since you’re on a team, the team really is your number one priority, but you can do that and still have fun.

There’s never anything wrong with asking for advice from others. No question about feeling weird if you’ve never played with a leftie mouse and the shortcuts thing. There’s also nothing wrong with being friends with more experienced left-handed players, and then just ask for any tricks they may know. Always ask for helpful tricks or hints from the people you play against. You will see that many gamers like helping beginners because it gives them a chance to show-off their knowledge. The whole point to online gaming is to have fun. Even the most complex game universes are supposed to be pure fun.
